Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan 90th Anniversary Celebration Dinner 2019
Ian Hao and Ing Le represented the QaneMate team at the Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan 90th Anniversary Celebration Dinner in 2019. They interacted with many Poit Ip Huay Kuan members and showed off the QaneMate at the celebration of the Singapore Bicentennial.

Marine Parade To-Care-Ther Social Networking Session 2019
Close to 130 participants representing 40 different organisations attended the Social Networking Session, including schools, businesses, government and community agencies, VWOs and religious organisations. The QaneMate Team set up a booth to meet with representatives and ESM Goh Chok Tong, Guest of Honour at the event.

STEP Sociovation Forum 2019
STEP Sociovation Forum 2019 explored three main social themes: ageing, disability and environment sustainability through visits to community partners such as WOW Kampung, Dignity Kitchen and St Luke’s Eldercare. Using design-thinking frameworks, participants then came up with innovative ideas that may be applied to the social, public, or private sector. Ian Hao was invited as the guest speaker for the opening ceremony.

CCA Walk 2018: Walk The Extra Mile With Me
The Children's Charities Association of Singapore (CCA) annual fair aims to help less privileged children under the care of its 6 member charities with more than 60,000 beneficiaries. Qanemate supported the CPAS organisation booth there. The day's programme was kicked-off with the Walkathon followed by the opening ceremony of the Fair.

Equal Ark Charity Gala 2018
35 at-risk youth and youth with special needs were recognised during Equal-Ark's gala dinner at the Shangri-La Hotel. Attended by Education Minister Ong Ye Kung, the attendees were recognised for the social skills they displayed during local charity group Equal-Ark's youth development programme.

The Purple Parade 2018
The QaneMate Team participated at The Purple Parade 2018. The Purple Parade is a unifying national platform to promote awareness and celebrate abilities of people with special needs. The core of The Purple Parade movement is to ensure that people with special needs are included in the main chapter of Singapore’s growth and have equal access to education, employment, transport and social networks.

SPD Ability Walk 2018
The QaneMate Team participated in the annual SPD Ability Walk and Carnival 2018. It aims to provide an opportunity for people of different abilities to walk together and serves to promote inclusion and raise awareness of disabilities. The Sports Qane made its debut at this event.

SmartHealth Symposium 2018 @ French Chamber Of Commerce
SmartHealth brings together the French expertise in the healthcare sector to address the context of Singapore’s healthcare needs. Themed “The Innovative and Digital Healthcare Leap”, it highlights trends and new technologies that are shaping the landscape and explores perspectives on how innovation can be rapidly integrated to deliver tomorrow’s healthcare solutions.

Qanes @ Tan Tock Seng Hospital
Ian Hao and Ing Le donated 50 Qanes to the Centre for Geriatric Medicine in January 2017. "It's always better to give than to receive." These two young inventors have taken the lead to drive home the message that young Singaporeans can play a bigger role in helping people in need and that "no one is too young to make a difference, or too old to care." We are excited to share these with the patients who need them!
